After a record-setting winter, the answer is almost! As of today, Lake Tahoe’s water level is at 6226.19 feet, which is just 2.91 feet below the natural rim elevation of 6220 feet. The maximum legal limit is 6229.1 feet, so it’s filling up fast. With the spring runoff in full swing, we could see Lake Tahoe reach its maximum legal limit soon.
